We’re so excited to demo on Friday! This week is all about 3D printing our holder and connecting together some final pieces of the puzzle to get aiSight demo ready! Our team has been hard at work getting everything ready to showcase, and we’re really excited to show off the fruits of our labor! We’ve gotten to every feature we wanted minus facial recognition, which is still okay, as we did have an extremely ambitious MVP, and I’m happy with the work we’ve accomplished so far.
On actual demo day, we had a lot of excited people come and learn about our project, tech stack, and other cool things. We showcased our computer vision, gesture recognition, and scene description, and what future plans we have for the project. At the end of the day, we placed 4th place out of 15 teams! Which we’re really proud of!
